      BASE INTEREST RATE FURTHER CUT TO 7% PER YEAR

     Nhan Dan Online – The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) on January 23 issued a decision to further cut the base interest rate to 7% per year from 8.5% per year, bringing down the maximum lending interest rate offered by credit institutions to 10.5% a year from 12.75% a year.
